Sabine is a warm and empathic clinical psychologist dedicated to providing clients with high quality, evidence-based, psychological therapy that is both collaborative and unique to the individual. She strongly believes that people can grow and develop when provided with the right support, and that therapy works best when it considers an individual’s personality style, concerns, and personal therapy goals.

Sabine completed her clinical training and PhD at the University of New South Wales in Sydney in 2007. Since then, she has worked in a variety of private, public health and clinical research settings, ranging from working in trauma, addiction and adolescent services, to delivering parent training programs. She currently splits her time between her private practice in Bondi Junction and working in public health at the National Centre for Veterans’ Health Care.

Sabine is experienced in working with people from all backgrounds with varying presentations. She provides individual therapy for adults across their lifespan. She has a special interest working with people presenting with PTSD and complex trauma (childhood trauma, relational trauma and first responders), traumatic loss and grief, as well as anxiety disorders (OCD, Phobias, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety).

Passionate about helping people get the most out of treatment Sabine enjoys supporting clients to make the growth they desire, as well as making it easier to move through challenging life periods by focusing on developing personal strengths and resilience.

Sabine’s treatment approach depends on the individual and the issues they present with. Most importantly Sabine sees therapy as a collaborative process, and at its most fundamental as a relationship in which self-awareness can grow and lead to changes in behaviour and a greater sense of agency in life.

Sabine holds full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
